On October 1, 2016, Nathan and Emily wrapped up a long day working a festival. In the calm that followed the music and the crowds, something shifted. In those quiet moments after it all ended, they realized what had been growing between them all along, the beginning of a love story neither of them saw coming, but both would come to cherish.Over the years, they continued to work side by side, sometimes closely, sometimes in different roles and capacities, but always moving forward together. Whether it was singing along to Zach Bryan, Nelly or Taylor Swift, every moment became part of the soundtrack of their story, each day truly a day to remember.They’ve spent countless days exploring breweries, cheering for their St. Louis teams, and embracing camping trips fueled by country music. Through it all, their relationship has grown into a true partnership, one defined by God, loyalty, joy, and the kind of love that feels like home.They’ve never needed to be famous to the world, only to each other, in the life they’ve created together.Because love isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. It’s about endurance, commitment, and choosing each other through every mile. In Memphis and in a moment that perfectly reflected their journey, Nathan proposed in the spirit of that very idea, marking not a finish line, but the start of their next chapter together.
